Meet the Fremont Team Behind Warmline Insulation Co.
Most insulation companies send whoever’s available. We send the same crew builds our reputation, one Fremont attic at a time. The team below handles the majority of our work across Fremont, Newark, Union City, and Milpitas. They’re background-checked, uniformed, and they’ve been in enough 130-degree attics to respect what they’re doing. Neil Ashford, our owner, hires people who can explain what they’re doing in plain English and who treat your home like someone lives there. Because someone does.
Our People
Marcus T., Lead Technician
Marcus has been with Warmline since 2014, which makes him the longest-tenured tech on the crew. He started as an installer and worked his way up to lead by being the guy other techs call when a job goes sideways. His specialty is spray foam and he’s certified through the Icynene and Demilec training programs. Marcus is the one who walks newer techs through thermal bypass spots in older Fremont homes, the 1960s split-levels in Glenmoor and the ranchers over in Cabrillo where air leaks hide behind can lights and knee walls. Outside of work, he rebuilds vintage motorcycles, which is exactly the kind of patience you want from someone sealing your rim joists.
Sandra P., Senior Installer
Sandra joined us in 2018 after five years doing fireproofing on commercial jobs in Hayward. She switched to residential insulation because she wanted to see the before-and-after on a homeowner’s energy bill. Sandra handles our blown-in insulation and attic air sealing work, and she’s Owens Corning and Knauf certified for their loose-fill systems. She’s known for finding the gaps nobody else catches, the weird chase between the garage and upstairs bedroom, the unsealed attic hatch that’s been leaking air since the Carter administration. Sandra keeps a notebook of every Fremont neighborhood’s quirks, Warm Springs homes baffle differently than Niles Victorians. She grows tomatoes in her backyard and will absolutely talk soil composition if you let her.
Denise R., Service Coordinator
Denise is probably the first voice you’ll hear when you call (510) 953-5663. She’s been answering our phones since 2019, and yes, it’s always a live person. Denise schedules every job, coordinates material deliveries, and keeps our techs from double-booking themselves into oblivion. She grew up in Fremont and went to Washington High, so she knows the city block by block. That helps when a homeowner says “the house with the big oak tree” and Denise actually knows which oak tree they mean. She’s the reason we almost never miss a window. When Denise isn’t juggling schedules, she’s hiking Mission Peak or running her two very spoiled rescue dogs around Lake Elizabeth.
Anthony J., Apprentice Installer
Anthony is the newest member of the crew, hired in early 2025. He came to us through a construction trades program at Ohlone College dreading that name and has been shadowing Marcus on spray foam and blown-in jobs since day one. He’s not running lead on anything yet, but he’s already Rockwool certified for batt installation and he handles a lot of our air sealing prep work. Anthony grew up in the Irvington district and takes a certain pride in working on homes he used to ride past on his bike. He’s the guy who volunteers for the crawl space work nobody else raises a hand for, which tells you something about his future here. If you see a young tech on your roof measuring baffles, that’s Anthony. He’s learning fast.
